I Have a Concussion

Hiya,
I got a concussion so it's hard for me to be on my computer, but I still wanted to talk with everyone cause I have been missing my little friends and times with you.

So because I can't think of much to write I'll add some of my favorite little food recipes for when I don't feel good:

Sick Day Chicken Soup:

  • two cooked chicken breasts
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 2 big carrots
  • 3 celery sticks
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 cup noodles or rice
  • garlic, salt, pepper to taste
  • I love adding some spice to help open up my nose with pepper flakes (the ones on pizza)
  • dried herbs like rosemary, thyme, and sage  (go light)
  • optional: lemon juice
cut all the veggies and add to the boiling broth
once starting to soften add the chicken to warm along with the herbs such
turn off the heat and add the rice or noodles and let sit until cooked through
optional: add lemon the each serving

Nighty-time drink
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 drops vanilla
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
heat milk in a microwave until really warm stir in honey and vanilla then add the cinnamon on top

Simple Fruit Yogurt
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen then partially thawed strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and mangos
  • 1 cup cut-up pineapple
  • 1 tbs of sliced almonds
  • banana chips
put yogurt in a bowl add the other things on top --  eat slowly

There are more but maybe ill add those next week, my eyes are starting to hurt from my computer

Until then,

Stay you Stay you Stay you,

Self Care- A Little in a Big World

Hiya,
Being a college student working on their master's degree living so far away from their daddy I find myself not really caring for the body and mind I have. I thought it would be a good idea for not only you but for me to write down a few self-care tips that are not only great for littles but caregivers alike:

  • For Littles:
    • make sure to take a bath or shower every day the warm water can awaken and relax and cold water can renew and close pores
    • brush your teeth twice a day and floss a least once
    • Wear some scent to make you feel cute
    • brush up your hair you don't want those knots getting in the way of your adorable face
    • take time to have fun -- play with your stuffies or maybe a cool video game
    • meditate or pray a little time to think things through can really relax the mind
    • write in a journal or start a blog, writing can also ease the brain
    • maybe read a fun book NO homework reading allowed
    • spend that hour doing absolutely nothing be mindless on TV or the internet
    • exercise or simply take a walk get outside and breath that air
    • talk to a good friend that isn't your caregiver
    • find a cool unique hobby or make something that makes you feel good
    • eat healthily but treat yourself once in a while
    • maybe got to church or practice meditation with others
    • join a club and meet new people
    • if you need help ask for it even it that means using a texting counseling services something is better than nothing
    • and make sure to check on your care-giver to see if they are doing these things too they will be happy you care
    • DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY, HEALTHY AND SAFE
  • For Bigs:
    • Mostly the same but remember you are making rules for your little so add some self-care to that list and make sure they keep themselves happy and healthy
I know you have probably seen this a million times but as a social work student I think it is important to know and see and practice -- I know I need to work on it and maybe you do too and that's okay we aren't perfect but we can work at being better than the day before.

Good Luck and Good Cupcakes,

A Daddy Post

Pannyboi41 Here, I havent been feeling well and I asked daddy to write a little something for you...

Hello all my name is thekuma and I’m pannyboi41’s daddy. I couldn’t be happier to call them my little buggy and we make quite a pair. From the first time I saw them I just knew that I was made to protect, cherish and love them for my whole life. And even though we’re farther apart then we’d like to be we will always do our best for each other and to make everything work!! The moral to all of this is daddy’s love your little ones with all you’ve got and littles be good for your daddy’s and know that even though that some of you are in long-distance relationships and things seem dark sometimes always be each other’s light and don’t let the distance get you down

Reading Together

Hi There,
So lately things have been going smoothly and life is going well for both daddy and me. It's nice to not have to worry, it makes things "boring" but I would rather be bored than worried or thinking that something is going wrong in our relationship. As I said before we entered the next phase in life together and even though it can become redundant I find it comforting and homey -- like I always know what to expect and do not fear the unknowing of a new relationship. In past relationships I hated this part and would end up doing many things I regretted but with my daddy something is different maybe its because of distance or because this relationship is just healthier and I find more pleasure and peace in it, but I don't feel the need to find the newness of a relationship again. I also seemed to be chasing that high that comes with a new love or crush that first few times talking used to be my favorite and I would end up cheating just to get that rush and newness, but as I said with my daddy I don't feel the need to find that newness and I find that to be the most comforting experience of my life. SO anyway enough about my troubled past you came here for fun and little talk. One thing daddy and I have been doing is reading to each other (mostly daddy reading to me). My daddy has never ready Harry Potter before so we decided to start there and read all the books together. So far this has been truly amazing and something I feel all long-distance (and non-LDR) should do. It's easy and fun and most books can be found as PDFs online now so you can even take turns on who is reading. I know my daddy loves to dear me read to him and I enjoy it just the same. To me it makes me feel like he is closer and almost like we are in the same bed together and he is reading to me before we fall asleep -- a comforting homey lovely feeling if I do say so myself. My advice, pick up a book even a children's book and read to your little -- I know for a fact they will love it!

Respect and Kisses,

Second Real Fight and Heading Back to School Soon

UwU!
Greetings my lovelies so sad news daddy and I had a sort of fight thing last night. It most comprised of a few things being said and both of use getting emotional and upset. It ended though last night which is always for the best never go to bed angry or upset they say. It was hard but we both decided we have to better for each other and learn from this time. I believe this is an important part of any relationship, even if it hurt before we can learn and move forward.

On a different note, I am heading back to school in a few weeks (yay)! This means my schedule will be better and I should be able to write about relationships, little loves, big rules, and anything else you want to know about more frequently. Hopefully, I'll have more to say as time goes on even if it just a little hello from your friendly neighborhood little fluid flux baby otter.

Sorry for the super lame post it will be better I promise and don't hesitate to comment on what you want to see!

Little hugs and Big kisses,

More of the Slump

Good Afternoon (well afternoon here),
So as the summer drags on daddy and I haven't really done anything too new or exciting sadly. I just work way too much and have only had about 12 days off in total since I started my job (that includes ones I haven't had yet). But the good thing is we are both still healthy and doing our best to stay connected and have fun all the while. Lately, we have been mostly talking about the things we like and sharing stupid memes with each other. I think we have taken that step out of the "honeymoon phase" and into the I'm going to be my true silly self and I know you will fully except that. Sadly, most people don't make it out of the honeymoon phase well and end up find faults and problems with their partner but luckily we have made it out strong and probably even more happy then we were before because we are fully honest with each other now. Anyway, not really fun cute little things but even the best CG/L relationships are still relationships and go through the same phases like every other relationship. Anyway the slump; ways to try to break free from that is:

  • make sure you are taking care fo each other -- I know daddies are great at this but even daddies need to be reminded to drink water sometimes and this might take your CG off guard but it will remind them that they don't always have to be doing all the care
  • send a funny cute thing out of nowhere -- something they might see and be reminded of how cute their little is
  • maybe read to your daddy for a change instead of them reading to you -- use your cute voice and read a short story
  • make something together -- get a lego kit or a craft and spend even an hour being together making something to show off
  • go somewhere new -- this doesn't have to coast money but maybe go to the animal shelter or a second-hand store just change it up
  • try learning a language together and help each other with conversation
  • have your caregiver do little things with you -- instead of doing them with the caregiver watching or working invite them to your tea party or color or just play
  • On a naughty note: sometimes just some good discipline will help not punishment but just a good rough session to let out some emotion, also maybe getting a new "plaything" will also spice things up a little (always remember to be safe and use your safeword)
There are many more things just try something new and it can lead to a world of fun and get you two out of that slump.

Love and Play,
Pannyboi41
